My name is Coach Elvin Douglas McFarlin.  I am a service-disabled Vietnam Veteran, United States Navy. I have dedicated over 55 years of my life to coaching youth athletics, with a focus on track and field.

Following spinal surgery in 2009, the issue of Veteran homelessness was brought to my attention. I began to relive the experience with my younger brother Ronald, who returned from his tour of duty addicted to heroin. After many failed drug programs, he left home one day. A few years later, we received the call we knew would come eventually.

My wife Charlotte Elaine and I decided to start a campaign to address the issue of Veteran and chronic homelessness in America. You may agree, our Veterans should be Honored, for their service and sacrifice. Hence, we started Honor 2 Our Heroes Foundation H2O(H).

There are a number of great organizations in the fight to end Veteran homelessness. And the majority suffer from the same need for funding.

H2O(H) operates for the purpose of supplementing funding needs of vetted organizations that support the needs of Veterans, with a focus on Veteran and chronic homelessness.
